Who is Victor Crowl?

Cinematographer, filmmaker, director and writer



Victor Crowl is a Jamaican born, Toronto raised entrepreneur, filmmaker, mentor, motivational speaker, music producer, singer-songwriter, photographer and author. He is the owner of Smile Music & Film Productions, a production multi-Media conduit for himself and other artists since 1986. From 1989 to present, Victor has produced & released six CDs, all available on iTunes. Victor's music has been synchronized to television and films which have been viewed by millions and continue to be aired in syndication throughout the world. Victor has written, produced, choreographed, filmed & directed four feature films that are now in submissions in film festivals around the world. In 2013, Victor's film, "Victory", won an award of merit in the gay/lesbian/transsexual category in the Accolade award competition in California honouring outstanding achievement in film, television and videography. Victor's writing was published in the internationally released "The Spiritual Significance of Music" by New Zealand author Justin St. Vincent, which features many of the world's most visionary artists and writers. Victor was featured in the 2013 book "10x10 100 Portraits Celebrating Queers in the Arts, Volume 3".
